Write a Journal
For some people, the act of writing down all the things that have happened to them is a great way for them to remove unwanted thoughts and clear their mind. Many people do this just before bed so that they are relaxed and their mind is empty when they try to sleep. It doesn’t have to be a long entry every day; if it allows your mind to feel uncluttered by the day's events, then that is what’s important. In much the same way as a journal, they can release their feelings and thoughts so that they don’t clutter their mind.
