Testosterone Booster Supplements

A Brief Guide on Testosterone Booster Supplements

As men age, there is a natural deterioration in the amount of testosterone that the body produces. For many centuries, it was only spoken of in regards to how women go through a mid-life issue referred to as menopause, when her body ceases to be fertile and her hormones shift. In more recent years, there has be a lot more scientific focus on how male bodies change as well as they age, and how, many experience a similar period of hormonal imbalance.

As a result, there has been increasing practice and interest in treatments to help restore the levels of testosterone for men. This is often done in one of two ways;

  • with actual injection/introduction of testosterone, or;
  • through testosterone booster supplements.

While the former can have a lot of unwanted side effects, there is a lot of interest in natural supplements and homeopathic options for restoring hormone levels.

Benefits of Testosterone Booster Supplements

Restoring testosterone levels in men can result in many positive benefits, which include: improved sense of well-being, increased libido and performance, and increased physical performance, to name a few. Overall, just as women do not feel great about themselves when their hormone levels are imbalanced, men do not entirely feel well themselves. A lack of testosterone can also lead to testosterone and bone loss.

Reservations Regarding Testosterone-Boosting Supplements

Some men have expressed reservations regarding testosterone boosting supplements, largely due to a lack of proper education. When it comes to boosting supplements, it is important to point out that most of them are comprised of natural vitamins and compounds that do not carry the same potential side effects of actual testosterone injections. According to Steroidsforsale.com, the purpose of testosterone boosters is to encourage the body to produce its own endogenous testosterone, this is done by increasing hormones such as LH and FSH, stimulating the leydig cells into producing more testosterone. An example of a natural compound that is commonly found in testosterone booster supplements is D-Aspartic Acid, an amino acid that is commonly found in many natural sources, including oysters and seafood.

Other Uses Of Testosterone BoostersTestosterone Booster Supplements

In addition, testosterone booster supplements are very popular among those in the body building field as an alternative to injecting testosterone as a means of replacement therapy. Increased levels of testosterone can help greatly improve the results of their efforts to bulk up and trim at gym. For those who do not have low levels of testosterone, boosting the natural production can be balanced off by burning the excess energies through working out and being active. The end result, when used properly, is no ill side effects and an overall improvement in health, both mentally and physically.

Examples of Testosterone Booster Supplements

The following are brief breakdowns on some popular testosterone booster supplements. Each will include a list of the ingredients and summary of their effectiveness according to user reviews. Another relevant factor that will be listed when possible is the cost. For those undergoing testosterone replacement with injections and creams, the costs can be comparatively higher than most of the supplements available in the market.

1. TestoFuel

Active Ingredients: Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, Vitamin B6, Magnesium, Zinc, D-Aspartic Acid, Siberian Ginseng Leaf, Fenugreek Seed, and Oyster Extract.

Campy name aside, three months of supplements costs around $220. In comparison to many testosterone prescriptions, that can be around the cost of a single month. According to user reviews, it works quickly and efficiently with little to no noticeable negative side effects. The use of ginseng, instead of caffeine which most other supplements use, allows for natural energy boosts instead of periods of jittery anxiety.

2. Prime Male

Active Ingredients: Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, Vitamin B6, Magnesium, Zinc, D-Aspartic Acid, Siberian Ginseng, Fenugreek, Oyster Extract, Mucuna Pruriens, Nettle Root, and BioPerine.

Almost identical to the previous example, it is the addition of more extracts and other supplements that make this one unique. It is also designed to more naturally combat age-related testosterone loss in men after the age of 30. Like other testosterone booster supplements, the goal of the naturally and clinically proven ingredients is to help encourage the body to perk up its own natural production of testosterone. In addition to being a good supplement for men over 30, cost-wise, it is only around $207 for a four-month supply. Considering the costs of some medications, it is another feasible alternative for those who don't want to take synthetic testosterone injections.

  • I have tried Bulgarian Tribulus Terrestris for about 1 week. I have noticed some increase in blood flow increasing erections also noticed a drop in blood pressure and blood sugar levels. But I also believe that , no testosterone booster will be as effective unless it is also paired with a proper diet plan and a good workout protocol.
